She was well-known as the Chicago Public Library CEO, and after transitioning to Baltimore, she now has a job as the librarian of Congress in Washington DC.

The people that visit this library number in the millions. In fact, over the last decade, there has been a nearly 60% increase, moving up to 2 million visits back in 2010. In addition to this, the website has been receiving a substantial amount of traffic. Part of this influx or increase in traffic could be due to its presence on the web. According to statistics as well, teenagers and children read a total of nearly 1/4 million books as part of the summer reading program. All of the connected libraries have a total of about 600 computers, all of which are available for public use.
